A TRIBUTE TO MIRÓ

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

This is a personal kid friendly video & photo shoot project inspired by the surrealist world of Miró.

Since I was a young girl, I have always felt deep love and admiration for the artistic movements of Surrealism and Dadaism.

Dadaism is an artistic movement in modern art that started around World War I. Its purpose was to ridicule the meaninglessness of the modern world. Its peak was 1916 to 1922, and it influenced Surrealism, Pop Art, and Punk Rock. Joan Miró was one of the artists from Spain in this period. He favored going against the standards of society. He was a painter, sculptor, and ceramicist. His work has had a huge presence in my culture and life.
